Wastewater Reuse

Reclaimed Water Infrastructure Project

The City of Corpus Christi is exploring opportunities to use reclaimed water, also known as wastewater reuse, from the City’s wastewater treatment plants as an additional water source. The City works with engineering partners to evaluate how treated water from facilities like the Oso Wastewater Reclamation Plant could be transported and further cleansed for beneficial use. The City has been in discussions with various entities regarding the use of reclaimed water from multiple wastewater treatment plants.

Reclaimed water from these facilities can be used for various purposes, including golf courses and country clubs, parks and recreation facilities, university campuses, municipal facilities, and other irrigation and non-potable applications.
